Selling THE EARTH COLLECTION® is making a statement as well as joining a growing success. As THE EARTH COLLECTION® is a life style concept, strong and easily identifiable brand-and-shop concepts are very important. We naturally have guidelines for THE EARTH COLLECTION® shop fitting - our requirements are based around the use of natural materials in the shop and a simple display system for the clothes.

The Concept

Unlike a franchise (which can cost up to £100,000), the concept of THE EARTH COLLECTION® is free. The requirement is for shops to sell ladies’, men’s and children’s wear as well as accessories of THE EARTH COLLECTION® brand exclusively. The reason for this is that we want you to succeed and as such keep the entry costs to the absolute minimum which includes supplying the shop fittings without profit.
Unlike other distributors we actually hold the continuity stock for each shop at our expense – the usual way in the trade being that a shop owner buys twice a year and then must pay for and take delivery for the whole season. This is a big risk for someone new in the business and is avoided with THE EARTH COLLECTION®.

Furthermore the clothing evolves from season to season in a unique way giving minimum risk to all concerned.

BCC UK and IRELAND has a large warehouse in which all the range for each season is stored. This enables us to keep a tight control over the stock and offer a next day service for all orders placed before 10.00 am. Constant research and reviews of the delivery service ensures costs are kept to a minimum whilst maintaining a high standard. Orders can be placed at any time but most shops generally tend to order on a weekly basis.

Customer Service

One of the most important elements to selling THE EARTH COLLECTION® range of products is the level of customer service offered to customers. The aim of the brand is to offer a personal service, spending time with customers, helping them to find the correct fit and offering suggestions. A good sales assistant will help the customer to buy a full outfit, complete with accessories rather than just one piece thus maximising profit for the store and, more importantly, complete satisfaction for the wearer.

Furthermore, the strong ethical background to THE EARTH COLLECTION® must be understood and learnt by all staff working in the shops so that accurate information is available to customers.
