Production methods - Good reasons to wear clothes from the Earth Collection
Our production processes are carried out with respect for the environment and the workforce. We only use dyes
that do not contain heavy metals and have a high fixation rate of 94-96%. We only work with dye houses that clean
and recycle their waste water.
All hangtags and cartons are made
from recycled paper , the minimal plastic packaging
is also recyclable and the inks on the hangtags are
water based. Leftover fabric is re-used wherever possible
such as in the production of our signature rag bag which
we have been proudly selling since 2003.

In May 2008 The Earth Collection's manufacturer, BCC
Pacific, was proud to be the first garment manufacturer
in China to be awarded the European ECO label, the EU
Flower. This ECO label covers vital environmental
areas such as:-
Minimising waste water pollution
Restricting the use of hazardous substances
Minimising the use of substances harmful to health and
the environment
Following strict production criteria verified by independent
consultants
Meeting quality criteria for shrinkage and colour resistance
Contributing to a sustainable economy
